We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join a team that is central to Bloom’s sustained, long-term growth. In this role, you will collaborate with marketing peers and cross-functional leads to expand brand visibility and advance critical business line objectives through SEO and content development. This role will be working with Bloom’s Marketing and Communications team and be based on-site in San Jose, CA. You are a prolific and passionate content creator, energized by the prospect of working on the content engine that powers this company’s narrative journey. You bring ambition, versatility, and a deep appreciation for the innerworkings of the creative process. You will partner closely with internal experts and product teams, as well as external stakeholders, to gather important insights and develop compelling collateral that brings our product and solutions portfolio to life. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the team in producing content, measuring effectiveness of the written and visual content you produce, and identifying gaps in topics branded by the business. Roles and Responsibilities: This role will have you participate in two distinct content initiatives intended to showcase our expertise and further cement our company’s thought leadership stake within a competitive industry. Develop engaging content across various platforms including blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and website copy Optimize content according to SEO best practices including keyword research, meta tags, and on-page SEO strategies Create multimedia content to increase brand awareness and drive engagement Ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with marketing objectives and brand guidelines Analyze and research digital trends in the industry and generate new ideas to draw website visitors Establish metrics and reporting around content management, website traffic, and user engagement Educations, Skills and Experience: Passionate storyteller with a strong brand sensibility; enjoys finding ways to disseminate content through various multimedia formats (web, email, social). Clear, effective communicator—verbally and in writing. You’re a creative wordsmith, able to craft crisp messages and adjust tone and style for specific channels or audiences. Basic understanding of SEO principles and knowledge of digital marketing concepts and web publishing – WordPress experience is a plus. Familiarity with social media and willingness to engage with the community on social media. Possess an eagerness to learn and an ability to quickly ramp up on Bloom technology, messaging, audience groups. Ability to develop, organize, and maintain process documentation. Results-oriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results in a fast-changing environment. High degree of discipline to juggle a diverse range of priorities, work with a wide range of internal stakeholders and agency personnel in a complex global environment. Currently pursuing BA/BS or international equivalent in marketing, English/communications, journalism, or related disciplines. Education or background in digital marketing and search engine optimization will be beneficial. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and video editing is a plus This internship is scheduled to begin June 2024 and end on approximately August 2024.
