We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Manager, Facilities and is based in Newark, DE. Role and Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair analog and electronically controlled equipment in SOFC Manufacturing Perform machine installations or modification per instructions Execute and track preventive maintenance activities Evaluate equipment and inform supervisor of issues or needed repairs Suggest improvements for tool set Help implement upgrades to machines Assist with manufacturing when required Support equipment testing and engineering group Ensure proper Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) compliance Skills and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Technical certification or equivalent experience preferred 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience with Automated Equipment, PLC controls, Mechanical training preferred Reliable, shows initiative, responsible follow through and a willingness to help Strong troubleshooting skills required Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator Able to follow both written and verbal instructions Must have computer skills, minimum Microsoft office Demonstrated ability to use small hand and power tools, previous experience with P.C. based testing equipment is preferred Complete tasks within standard times with minimum supervision Maintain a clean and orderly work area Must be able to work in a fast pace manufacturing environment Must be flexible with changing shift or work schedule Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed Must have excellent hand-eye coordination Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) About Bloom Energy: At Bloom Energy, we strive toward a 100% renewable future.
