Responsibilities
- Provide professional and administrative support to the Assistant Director and Managers in the Care Management Programs department
- Manage calendars and schedules, arrange appointments, meetings, conferences, and webinars; take minutes of meetings, transcribe materials
- Manage calendars, call outs, schedules and staff attendance reports, time-off requests, and prepare bi-weekly ADP time sheets for review and approval
- Analyze and audit data while developing and maintain spreadsheets and Excel databases; ensure data accuracy and integrity of various Utilization/Care Management/Vendor Management (UM/CM/VM) reports
- Generate, prepare, and initiate correspondence and reports using Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
- Create slides and charts for presentation using Microsoft Power Point and Visio; ensure presentations are user friendly and data is displayed appropriately
- Research reference documents, provide administrative support and coordinate vendor and other committee meetings
- Order office supplies and submit departmental expenses (i.e. staff training, staff travel, conferences/webinars, holiday party, etc.) through Finance System (Oracle)
- Handle confidential information and adheres to HIPAA standards
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant providing support to management required
- Experience in a health insurance, benefits, managed care environment preferred
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and Word required; able to create reports, formulas and maintain statistical data
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Outlook, Claims or other Web Based Systems (ADP, V3, QNXT, Oracle) preferred
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with members, employees, Funds, providers, union, and other agencies
- Ability to work independently and multitask under deadline pressure

Salary : $44,200 - $55,200
