```Job Summary```
This position is responsible for receiving external referrals, screening calls with potential members and scheduling initial assessments with enrollment nurses. The Intake Coordinator will assist and maintain the Business Development Manager's relationships with all referral sources. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative setting.
```Responsibilities```

Receive all incoming calls from potential patients and referral sources
Answers questions and conduct thorough phone screenings to gather demographic information
Schedule appointments based on providers' availability and abilities
Provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment upon initial contact with each patient in addition to providing a warm handoff to providers
Accurately collect all required information and enter all patient screening/intake information into the electronic medical record system
Verify all patient insurance benefits, co-payments, pre-authorizations
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Multi-task and effectively problem-solve
Performs other duties as assigned and needed
```Experience```
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and record keeping
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
-Bilingual is preferred
