Essential Job Functions:

1) The scheduling of all nurses in assigned clinical office and other related duties.

2) Accurately schedules nurses using Netsmart auto scheduler so patients are seen as ordered, to include fill-ins.

3) Generates model and working calendars for all nurses as directed.

4) Maintains current information in Netsmart scheduling/telephony systems.

5) Passes batches for clinical services daily, corrects any errors, and submits final run to payroll and billing.

6) Coordinates calls from clinical offices, patients, caregivers, and other staff related to schedules.

7) Employs proper telephone etiquette.

8) Displays a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided by the agency in all contact with staff, patients, and visitors.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Human Services, or related field preferred.

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous experience in healthcare or working with elderly or disabled preferred.

Ability to understand and communicate well with patients, family, and staff.

Previous data entry experience required.
