We have an exciting opportunity for CNC Machinists to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision metal parts. Your main end result will be to ensure that all parts are produced to the highest quality standards and meet the required specifications. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that production targets are met and that all work is completed on time and within budget.
Minimum Qualifications:
As a Machinist, you will use your skills in machine tools, machining, reading and interpreting blueprints, lathes, dial indicators, and heat treatment on a daily basis. You will also need to have experience with CNC programming and the ability to read and interpret GD&T symbols. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with others will be essential to ensure that all parts are produced to the highest quality standards and meet the required specifications.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machining role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience with machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as dial indicators
- Experience with CNC programming
- Experience with reading and interpreting GD&T symbols
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as CNC lathes and CNC Mills to produce precision metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances of the parts to be produced
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure that they are in good working order
- Inspect finished parts to ensure that they meet the required specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that production targets are met and that all work is completed on time and within budget
