An Overview of 7 Summit Pathways
We are a private, intimate Addiction Treatment Center using proven, successful medically based treatment methods. We specialize in treating all types of substance abuse, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders.
Primary Therapist Job Function
The Primary Therapist provides individual and group psychotherapy, case management, and family interaction. They are responsible for maintaining a thorough and accurate clinical record for each patient. Documentation must be kept so that all requirements of Florida state licensing standards which governs our programs are met along with the requirements for Joint Commission. The program therapist creates and maintains a therapeutic relationship with our patient to achieve optimal results through our program. LMHC or MCAP required.

Job Requirements
1. EDUCATION: LMHC or MCAP required.
2. EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience working as a Therapist preferred. Experience in working with substance abuse and mental health strongly preferred.
3. SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong Proficiency in electronic medical records/ability to chart appropriately.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills both orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in the organization
- Ability to respond and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Ability to consult with patients and interact appropriately and respectfully with family members.
- Ability to be calm in stressful situations.
Shift and Pay
Our organization is operating 24/7, 365 days a year. This position does involve some on-call and weekend scheduling. We are competitive in the market with pay based on your experience and offer the following perks*
