Receiving Clerk

The Opportunity: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for supporting the receiving department. Avantor, Batavia location, is hiring for a dependable, initiative-taking, entry-level Receiving Clerk paying $20-21 per hour. What we’re looking for Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Microsoft office suites. Effective communication both written and verbally. How you will thrive and create an impact Completes all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion. Reports status of workload. Assists with small projects. Assist the receiving team when available. Responsible for tracking inventory of supplies and notifying team members when a n order is needed. Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area to include daily filing. Assists in maintaining warehouse security. Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA and other appropriate standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
