The Role
AArete is actively seeking a dynamic Senior Consultant specializing in healthcare payer expertise.As a Senior Consultant, you are analytical with an entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence. Your best work is accomplished in a team environment, and you love an exciting challenge. A high-performing, self-starter, critical thinker with excellent communication skills is how you are described. You'll have an opportunity to make an impact by solving unique business challenges, both with client and internal projects. You will be responsible for driving projects to success and helping to manage a team.
Work You'll Do
Drive and lead Teams to successful outcomes through:
- Identifying innovative solutions through comprehensive research, data analytics, and insightful interviews
- Crafting compelling business cases to showcase viable solutions
- Delivering persuasive presentations to both clients and internal stakeholders
- Providing invaluable support during the implementation phase
- Mentoring and guiding Analysts and Consultants to foster growth and success.
- Developing a deep understanding of client requirements and delivering exceptional results
- Demonstrating a keen ability to ask incisive and probing questions to unearth underlying issues and opportunities
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with the healthcare industry, specifically on the payer side
- 4 years of consulting experience
- Advances proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic SQL for data analysis
- Bachelor's degree required
- Direct client interaction, including possible travel to client location
- High self-motivation, accountability, and encouragement toward others
- Exceptional independent judgment
- Creative and innovative
- Strong Project/Process management; Balance and prioritize competing responsibilities
- Cultural flexibility/adaptability
- Direct client interaction, including possible travel to client location
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Preferred Requirements
- Experiencewith AArete's other focus industries: Healthcare Providers, Financial Services, Education, Retail & Consumer, Transportation, Logistics, & Distribution, Public Sector, and Technology & Professional Services
- Familiarity with SQL
- Applicants based in Chicago, IL and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed
