Position Summary:
A licensed plumbing service repair and maintenance company based in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a motivated and organized Service Coordinator. This role involves supporting the service department's logistics and coordination to ensure efficient completion of service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Order Management: Receive, prioritize, and dispatch work orders to service teams.
- Supply Coordination: Order and manage supplies needed for service tasks.
- Communication: Collaborate with the service supervisor and dispatcher to ensure clear communication and efficient workflow.
- Team Coordination: Work with the service supervisor, service dispatcher, and service teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain contact with customers to confirm appointments and follow up on completed service calls.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks and take ownership of additional responsibilities during slow periods.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience; plumbing experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:50 AM to 5:00-6:00 PM, with occasional extended hours during peak winter season.
