WHAT IS A HOUSE MANAGER?
The House Manager (HM) of the ISL is responsible for the care of the home and the individuals who live in it. These responsibilities can include, but are not limited to, shopping, cleaning, direct support care, scheduling medical appointments, reviewing medications, supervising Direct Support Professionals, filing documents, completing documentation, and other tasks as assigned. House Managers should be detailed-orientated, punctual, and be a role-model for others in the work place.
This particular home provides support to three males, ages 18-24, who require behavioral supports. The House Manager must have experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral needs.

PAY
- This position pays a minimum of $24.00 per hour
SCHEDULE
- The House Manager is typically scheduled for morning shifts (6am or 7am to 2pm or 3pm) on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is unscheduled to complete administrative/office work.
- No scheduled weekend shifts but House Manager must participate in on-call rotation.
ON-CALL REQUIREMENTS
- Friday at 2:00 p.m. – Monday at 6:00 a.m.
▪ The House Manager will participate in the rotating on-call weekend with other members of management and administration. Average on-call weekend is one time every 3-4 weeks.
▪ A $100.00 bonus is given for every on-call weekend (Friday-Sunday).
▪ The House Manager will clock all time worked during their on-call weekend
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, & TRAININGS
- Must always have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a working phone at all times.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a background check, per DMH policies.
- Must attend scheduled trainings, including but not limited to, CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, CPI, Level I Med Aide, house meetings, manager meetings, and other types of trainings, conferences, or meetings deemed necessary by the administration.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Ideal applicants have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, be empathetic, kind, passionate, assertive, and be able to remain calm during a crisis or stressful moment.

SUPERVISION:
Direct Supervisor: Developmental Disability Professional
Supervises: Approximately 10-16 Direct Support Professionals in conjunction with the other members of management
Salary : $24
