General Description
Responsibilities & Duties
- Work on any and all aspects of projects as directed; including but not limited to research, development, organizing, implementing and evaluating.
- May be responsible to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- May create a project schedule, with milestones, due dates and team members/departments involved and other resources, which will then be submitted to management for approval.
- Monitor project progress and bring issues to the attention of your manager.
- Ability to perform a variety of important and sometimes urgent, confidential tasks with constant changing priorities.
- Maintain records within an electronic data management system.
- Submit progress reports on assigned projects.
- Work with oversight program Directors/Staff to improve and increase communication, efficiency and quality of services.
- Attend training as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- Associates preferred or High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college or technical education preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) year of job-related experience.
- Possess professional written and verbal communication. Professional interpersonal skills and appearance. Ability to motivate staff and produce work products in a timely manner. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings. Ability to work and interact with diverse individuals.
- Must be able to multi-task and have strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of federal grants, BIA and IHS Self Governance contracts, State Compacts, Federal laws, codes and regulations relating to sovereign nations.
- Knowledge of construction: read and comprehend blueprints, interpret materials manifest, perform on site inspection for progress reports.
- Knowledge and skill in use of computers, related software and platforms
- Knowledge and experience in program planning, coordinating, and implementation.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Sitting or standing or walking for long period of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking hearing and visual acuity.
- Frequent lifting (up to 15 lbs)
- Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs)
