Psychiatric Nurse Summary
Our mental health clinic is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse to join our outpatient care team. In this role, you provide care to our patients and support to their families. The position is responsible for
- Assessing, diagnosing, providing treatment plans, prescribing medication therapy, and offering counsel across the lifespan.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments. Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other departments (psychology, Substance, Counseling)
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Maintain a customer-oriented approach to meeting patient needs in an expedient manner, involving the family in the plan of care as appropriate
- Management of Assaultive Behavior certification is particularly helpful.
- Able to interpret TOVA result and diagnose patients
Psychiatric Nurse Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Master's degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatry or mental health strongly preferred
- State RN and APRN license
- BLS certification
- MAB certification a plus
- Experience in an outpatient psychiatric setting is preferred
- Experience with Ketamine Infusions

Pay: $50.25 - $75.00 per hour
