Position Summary

We are seeking a Material Handler and Receiving Lead to join our team!

The Lead is responsible for supporting and ensuring all Receiving functions by which include timely receiving of incoming shipments, unloading, breaking down, validating counts, stocking items, picking finished goods, packing, and processing of sales orders are completed and carried out effectively and in a timely manner. Other responsibilities may apply as an outline in the principal accountabilities section of this job description. This position will work closely under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who can give and take constructive feedback, effectively collaborate with coworkers, and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Receives and examines incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Reports any shortages, damages or product errors to Supervisor for investigation.
• Record data on quality logs
• Breaks down and confirms counts on necessary skidded deliveries and restacks in predetermined quantities for put-away.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Ensures proper use of equipment in accordance with safety regulations, and provides training as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of receiving area and warehouse areas to include storing materials in appropriate locations .
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 3-years Quality Experience
• Previous fast paced manufacturing experience preferred but not required

• Oral Communication

• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
