We are working with a client to identify a Scala Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. This role involves designing and implementing RESTful APIs, integrating with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, and leveraging cloud services on AWS. A strong commitment to quality is essential, as the developer will be responsible for writing clean, testable code and participating in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain applications and services using Scala, applying functional programming principles.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication with other services and front-end applications.
Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features in an agile environment.
Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage scalable, cloud-native applications.
Work with MongoDB to design data models, perform database queries, and optimize performance.
