What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Assistant position at ACI Health?
What You'll Do:
As a Human Resource Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient HR experience for staff and candidates alike.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with onboarding, offboarding, and general HR coordination
- Posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
- Preparing new hire documents and maintaining accurate employee records
- Tracking and supporting company-issued cell phones
- Addressing employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and procedures
- Managing timekeeping data and assisting with benefit enrollment
- Supporting audits, generating reports, and maintaining compliance
- Contributing to HR initiatives and ad-hoc projects
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s in HR or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (preferred)
- Tech-savvy with strong communication and multitasking skills
- Professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail
Work Environment & Schedule:
- Location: Hybrid (Remote & In-Office in Fredericksburg, VA)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional after-hours availability may be needed to support field operations
