Position : Hardware Design Engineer
Location : Milpitas, CA
Job Description :
- Design and develop high-speed digital and analog PCBs with EMI / EMC compliance.
- Expertise in microcontrollers (8051, ARM), microprocessors (ARM, DSP), and SOC-based systems.
- Proficient in peripheral interfaces : I2C, SPI, UART, RS485, CAN, and SDIO.
- Develop power electronics systems : AC / DC SMPS, DC / DC converters, and battery management.
- Experience in high-speed board design which includes DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, eMMC, HDMI, MIPI, Ethernet.
- Hands-on with wireless protocols : Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LTE, and GPS.
- Skilled in schematic tools (OrCAD, Altium) and layout tools (Allegro, PADS).
- Conduct SI / PI analysis and EMI / EMC pre-compliance testing.
- Utilize lab equipment : oscilloscopes, analyzers, and function generators.
- Collaborate across firmware, mechanical, and fabrication teams.
