Charles Evan’s Center has an opportunity for a full-time Medical Secretary (Bethpage and Hauppauge locations). The mission of Charles Evans Center (CEC) is to improve the health and quality of life of underserved populations including those with autism and developmental disabilities. The Medical Secretary performs clinical and administrative tasks to keep the Charles Evans Center functioning optimally and maintains an accurate and complete appointment scheduling system.
These are the requirements for the role:
· Post-secondary training with certificate, diploma or Associate degree.
· Computer literacy and data entry skills necessary
· Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
· Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Developmental Disabled population is a plus.
· 1 year experience working in a medical office or secretarial school preferred
This is a full-time position. Applicants must have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the clinic. The clinic hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30a – 8pm; Friday 8:30a – 5p; and one Saturday per month.
