Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 1-2 years of experience in Food or Flavors Industry
• 2-5 years of experience in analytical chemistry with practical application of scientific methods.
• GC/GCMS experience is essential.

Job Description

The Analytical Chemist III will perform analytical testing in food and beverage products. The role will also involve developing, optimizing, and validating analytical testing methods, preparing SOPs and reports, and performing routine maintenance on analytical instruments. The position requires close collaboration with various cross-functional teams including Research & Development, Quality Control, Operations, Procurement, and Regulatory to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing using advanced techniques such as HPLC and GCMS.
• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical testing methods.
• Prepare SOPs and reports as needed.
• Carry out routine checks and perform regular maintenance on analytical instrumentation.
• Coordinate technical support of instrumentation and maintain supplier relationships.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve desired results.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in analytical chemistry.
• Experience with HPLC and GCMS.
• Strong experience in wet chemistry and gas chromatography.
• Capability in developing and validating analytical methods.
• Experience in maintaining analytical instruments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00
