Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Our client who is in the polymer industry with a wide range of clients requiring them to following ASTM and FDA regulations needs to add an additional Analytical Chemist to their team due to internal promotions. The focus is performing analytical testing on a wide range of instruments testing products in the new product development or product enhancement phase along with failure analysis samples.

This is a Mon - Fri, 1st shift position

Responsibilities:

• Analytical material testing on instrumentation ranging from: FT-IR, NMR, GC, SEM, HPLC, DMA, TMA, DSC, TGA & ICP
• Follow ASTM or FDA regulations as required
• Knowledge of surface chemistry relative to adhesion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
• 2 years of analytical testing (ideally in chemistry) experience
• Familiar with analytical lab equipment including, but not limited to: DMA, TMA, DSC, TGA, FT-IR, NMR, SEM/EDS, GC and HPLC
