Description:
The Field Applications Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between PCB manufacturing and design from customers. They will work with customers, sales team, and manufacturing to provide technical input. They will use Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and other software to analyze PCB designs, drawings, stackups, and impedance, and review design for manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years’ industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- Five plus years professional experience in PCB Manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing.
- Excellent understanding of PCB manufacturing process with hands-on experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IPC Specifications not limited to IPC-2xxx and IPC-6xxx series
- Knowledge of failure mechanisms and factors that affect PCB reliability.
- Sufficient business acumen to blend technical and business activities to assist in growing sales in the assigned territory.
- Excellent communication and technical presentation skills, both verbal and written.
