Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be able to support the Project Manager in various tasks to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and schedules.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
• Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
• Support the Project Manager in client meetings and presentations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project management or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Work Environment

The work environment includes managing construction projects in commercial and multifamily sectors, ranging from 2-15 million dollars. It is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where safety and quality standards are strictly adhered to.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.86/hr.
