Job Title: Associate Scientist I

Job Description

This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. The Associate Scientist I will support reagent manufacturing, conduct investigations on internal nonconformances and customer complaints related to reagents, and assist in developing and improving reagent manufacturing processes and products.

Essential Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Team player
• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field
• At least one to two years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits
• Familiarity with process and test method validations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform under pressure to meet project deadlines

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations and audits is a plus

Work Environment

Shift: 8 hrs/day. Times will be variable. 1st Shift = 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 2nd Shift = 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Work on Saturdays is also required, with volunteers needed for 1-2 Saturdays per month, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
