What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Engineer position at Actalent?
Description: Automation Engineer
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for integrating, automating, and troubleshooting for 1 of our wide range of customers. They will be primarily modifying code in Rockwell and creating the system, running their project from start to finish. While we usually work on 1 project at a time, there is a chance that we could be tackling 2, no more than 3 projects in a short time frame.
Day to Day Operations include:
- Programming controllers with Rockwell.
- Designing electrical control cabinets and panels.
- Testing the system configuration to verify functions.
- Travel to client site for project meetings.
- Travel to client site for system commissioning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree
- 3 years experience
- 3 years experience programing PLC's (Rockwell preferred)
