Job Description
We are seeking an innovative biologist with experience in plant development and seed physiology to join our Innovation Science and Engineering (ISE) team. This role operates in a fast-paced, timeline-driven, and team-oriented environment that demands collaboration, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within a diverse and multifunctional team. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for system or process improvements, onboard new technologies or methods, and assist in method development. High quality deliverables, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to build productive external and internal relationships are essential.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, execution, and analysis of experiments to better understand and characterize the physiological and developmental response of crop plants to various treatments aiming to improve plant performance.
- Generate high-quality data and maintain detailed record-keeping and documentation for process improvements.
- Collaborate with other scientists on the team and support the discovery, development, and deployment of novel technologies.
- Complete job-related trainings and promote a culture of safety, innovation, and customer focus.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in biological sciences.
- 1 or more years of research experience in crop/plant/seed physiology, seed biology, plant developmental biology, plant reproductive biology, plant cell biology, tissue culture and transformation, plant biochemistry or related field.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time and perform tasks outdoors in the field.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00
