Description:
Actalent is hiring a Chemist for a Pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
Job Overview:
- This position will include the testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process samples and components, and stability study samples.
- Testing samples using titrations, pH, specific gravity, and HPLC.
- Daily use of HPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer Titrations, pH Meters, Viscometer. Inspect supplies and ingredients used for the production of pharmaceutical products. Review SOPs and lab protocols for accuracy.
- Some instrument validation.
- Adhere to GMP and FDA guidelines. stability study samples.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree with chemistry major
2. Preferred with one- or two-year’s pharmaceuticals industry experience with hands on GC, HPLC, FTIR, wet chemistry (titration) experiences.
3. Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP
4. Good handwriting for the laboratory notebook documentation
5. Preferred with knowing Agilent OpenLab software
