What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at Actalent?
Description:
The Superintendent will be responsible for onsite construction activities for projects located in Southwest Michigan. They will be responsible for running jobs within 12 months from starting in the position - projects will vary in size from small to midsize. The variety of projects include wood building and steel building. These commercial projects will range from $300K to $8M. Key projects include: hospitals, schools, churches, office, multifamily, etc. The Superintendent will work in coordination with the Project Manager. The superintendent will primarily be responsible for running projects, managing subcontractors, and communication with owners and others on project.
Responsibilities:
Work with construction documents
Manage subcontractors and framing
Manage Demo, prep work, framing, and finishing
Utilization of construction software programs such as Procore
