Job Description
A Development Chemist in the Special Hazards/Agents New Product Introduction Team works on developing and testing next generation fire suppression agents.
Responsibilities include research into new technologies, development of new technologies into commercial products, interfacing with 3rd party approval agencies, and assisting with new product commercialization and production scale-up via a stage-gate new product development process.
Development activities may include the handling of flammable liquids, live fire tests requiring the use of PPE, and lifting loads up to thirty-five pounds.
Pay: 90-100k
10% Sign On Bonus
Relocation Assistance if needed.
Degree in Chemistry
- Surfactant Experience is highly desirable
- Formulation experience is preferred
The R&D Team offers a flexible work environment that allows staff a flexible schedule. The team works Monday - Thursday 9 hour days and Fridays everyone is done by 10:30 or 11 a.m. once hired on perm or if hired direct, they offer 3 weeks of vacation, 40 hours of sick pay holidays and 3 floating holidays.
