Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Documentation Specialist to join our team. This role involves monitoring and updating existing HACCP, SOP, and QA programs, maintaining a comprehensive document control system, and creating and revising documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. This slower-paced position requires someone who proactively offers assistance to colleagues during downtime.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and update existing HACCP, SOP, and QA programs, procedures, and document control programs.
- Maintain a comprehensive and organized system for storing, retrieving, and accessing critical documents, including those related to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement quality assurance programs that effectively monitor product manufacturing in compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and HACCP.
- Create new documents such as specification sheets and SOPs, and revise existing ones to ensure they are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Biology, or Chemistry.
- Experience working within document control in the food or nutrition industry.
- Knowledge of GMP, SOP, and HACCP.
- Strong attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
