Description:
Actalent is currently seeking several Controls Engineers and Integrators for an Automation Solutions provider based out of Columbus, OH. This company provides custom automation, repeat automation and a variety of automation products for the following industries: life sciences, food & beverage, transportation, consumer products, and energy. The Automation Solutions provider has had a large influx of projects with their current clients and these Electrical Controls Engineer positions will be supporting the projects. Initially these positions will be slotted as 5 month contract positions but there is an opportunity for each individual to have their contract extended. These positions will have the expectation that the candidates can travel to ATS customer sites across the US. Familiar with automated assembly processes • Have written software, from scratch, for automated assembly cells • Capable of independently writing functional software using the inputs of electrical prints and cycle time / sequence of operation charts • Able to integrate third party devices using the PLC for control • Have commissioned automation cells with robotic automation before • Work within template software guidelines - Ability to lead a team of up to 6 controls engineers on a system. - Help to assign daily tasks to the team. Ability to adjust the team as issues come up through the day. - GCCS Certification or experience with GM Global Standards
