Job Title: Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to lead the technical development and design of EV charging installations. In this role, you will ensure high-quality execution from concept to completion and coordinate with utility companies to manage power supply reliability for EV charging stations.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical deliverables for compliance with national and local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Lead the technical development and design of EV charging installations, ensuring high-quality execution from concept to completion.
• Coordinate with utility companies to ensure power system reliability and manage the supply of power to EV charging stations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in Electric Vehicles (EV) and charging stations.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering and electrical design.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ability to create and review schematics and hardware designs.
• 2 years of experience in EV charging station design, including equipment and layout infrastructure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with national and local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Work Environment

This is an office-based role with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM (100% Remote). The team is growing at a rate of 25% year-over-year. Employees enjoy 6 holidays and 5 PTO days annually.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
