Job Title: Electrical/Renewable Designer

Job Description

As a Designer, you will prepare detailed electrical and construction installation documents, details, and installation packages in a timely manner. You will provide project support during the construction phase, working closely with the project superintendent, field installation team, and project manager. You will request specific information from approved equipment submittals, other discipline trade partners on projects, and/or engineering and design teams necessary to complete the design within scheduled deadlines. Your role involves analyzing a set of drawings to find ways to make the installation more efficient and effective for the project owner. Additionally, you will prepare and develop conceptual designs and sketches to present to the project team, design team, and owner. You will perform calculations and studies, including but not limited to power distribution calculations, lighting calculations, sizing cables and raceways, derating, and voltage drop. You will also create or modify project-specific cable schedules and other required tables, as well as prepare design guidelines, reference guides, reference details, abbreviations, and symbols, working collaboratively with a team.
