Electrical Engineer

Description:
This is a Sr Level Engineering position within the Electrical Department. The Sr Electrical Engineer works in close coordination with other discipline Registrants, Project Managers, the Department Manager, and Clients to ensure quality production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) are in compliance with the scope, budget, and project schedule to the satisfaction of our GLHN clients. Also, to provide consulting services, including reports of findings, problem analyses, engineering analyses, and resulting design work as necessary sign and seal documents upon final review. Provide mentoring to junior staff and bring a high level of QA/QC to the team. Engage in business development activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Registered Professional Engineer
BS/EE related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university
12 or more years’ experience, working in the AEC Industry with vast knowledge of Electrical
Keep current on the "State of the Art" in design specialty through review of periodicals and continuing education
Working knowledge of discipline-specific modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks) Proficient in the use of MS products
Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision while adhering to project deadlines
Experience with lighting software (visual and/or AGI32)
Experience in indoor and outdoor lighting design
