Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

This team supports validation of wire harnessing, circuit protection, and relays. The team works heavily with suppliers to acquire these parts/systems and then validates them to ensure they meet the criteria of the product groups they support. Under the direction of the manager and the component team test engineers, the Technician will support: creating and executing test plans and procedures, planning, scheduling, and executing validation activities, communicating results, and providing recommendations. The role involves working on testing electronic components and harnesses, conducting specific tests outlined in test plans, and possibly creating detailed test plans for specific products. Additionally, the role might include environmental testing tasks, such as thermal cycle testing, and generating reports on the findings of the testing processes.

• Electrical Lab Testing experience
• Ability to run with a test request autonomously
• Troubleshooting
• Problem solving
• Crimping wires
• Building harnesses
• Turning wrenches
• Using multimeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters
• High voltage experience (preferred)
• AS degree preferred

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Peoria, Illinois.
