What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Quality Engineer position at Actalent?
Description: THIS IS FOR HONDA SOUTH CAROLINA
- Lead in-depth analysis of quality problems, including parts measurements, to take action that will minimize impact to downstream customers (Manufacturing Depts)
- Prepare and submit technical documents to communicate quality problems with suppliers using the NARS Honda Trouble Report system (HTR’s), and present details to initiate countermeasure action
- Set technical requirements for supplier part change points using the NA Change Point Control System (CPCS) and evaluate quality documents before management review
- Lead complex problem-solving analyses and investigations.
- Lead supplier Quality Assurance Visits (QAVs) to communication concerns and confirm countermeasures are implemented that eliminate non-conforming conditions
- Mentor new associates within group on problem solving, procedures, and Parts Quality role and responsibilities.
- Perform judgment, disposition, and handling functions for non-conforming part problems.
- Judge part quality received from suppliers
- Effectively solve quality problems using PDCA
- Approve supplier countermeasures and supplier change points before production usage
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Internship experience
