Description:
75% of the day will be spent talking to customers over the phone troubleshooting any product issues or answering general questions (i.e. customer might need a part number)
Will also assist in the engineering test lab to build test stands.
25% of the time will be traveling domestically to customers to train them on the automotive HVAC product that they just purchased (Bergstrom will train them on this)
Provide technical support and field service for HVAC products and equipment
Performs preventive maintenance, site surveys, installations, and modifications
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-4 years of mechanical troubleshooting experience
Some HVAC experience – residential is fine - either would be a plus
Excellent communication skills - requirement
Need to be proficient with MS Excel to be able to look up part info
Electro/mechanical troubleshooting experience is ideal
Prior Field Service work is highly preferred
