Job Title: Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician installs, starts up, and modifies new or existing equipment at customer facilities to ensure proper operational functionality according to equipment specifications and scope of work outlined in Sales Orders or Field Service work instructions. The technician provides on-site technical assistance to repair equipment, reviews reports and documentation from customers and other field representatives to aid in troubleshooting equipment faults, and tests and inspects equipment to determine the root cause of malfunctions. The role requires servicing a cluster of companies at various locations across the US, with significant travel and overnight stays.

Work Environment

The technician will need to reside within 2 hours of the given locations but can expect to travel across a large portion of the US. The role involves over 80% overnight travel, often requiring living out of a hotel Monday through Friday most weeks. The technician will typically work an additional 10 hours of overtime per week.
