What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geotechnical Engineer position at Actalent?
We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Denver office. This engineer will work for multiple project managers on a broad range of project types. This position will focus on many markets, but will mostly work in geotechnical. We will only continue to grow, come join our team!
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct / manage geotechnical investigations
- Manage complex geotechnical engineering projects
- Lead and mentor a team of junior geotechnical engineers and technicians
- Prepare geotechnical reports, specifications, and drawings
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
- Provide technical guidance for field related issues and in construction
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
- Near PE or PE preferred
- A minimum of 5.5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in geotechnical software such as GINT, Geostudio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and work within a team-based environment

Salary : $80,000 - $130,000
