What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Provide onsite support for all launch build activities in all launch phases – Process/Time Study Development, Pilot Build Process Confirmation, as well as Re-balance operations to achieve budgeted manning targets and to resolve process, quality, ergonomic/safety concerns
Support remaining labor reductions for current model labor reductions
Apply lean manufacturing principles & techniques to establish and continuously improve workforce efficiency and JPH.
Apply Modular Arrangement Predetermined Time Standards and Lean principles to drive development and/or installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods
Conduct Job Ergonomics evaluations.
Create and maintain Operator Instruction sheets/work element sheets-IS/WES/and time studies for all operations in assigned area
Lead rebalance/workforce reduction activities for assigned area - Rebalancing, OIS update, process validation
Participate and drive cycle line layout for all forward models
Support Production in workforce related tracking and activities
Work in multi-functional teams with both UAW and salary employees
