What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Designer position at Actalent?
Actalent Interior division is seeking a Senior level Interior Designer to support our client in the Washington, DC area. You will be supporting large scale government projects, domestic and international. Our client is a mid-sized architecture, planning and interior design firm. Supporting projects in 132 countries and over 160 foreign cities. Our client has over 40 years of international design experience.
Description
- Supporting all phases of work- from Programming to CD production.
- This person will be involved in all phases and will be a key component of ensuring client deliverables are met
- % Breakdown:
- 60% -- Construction documents and getting projects out the door.
- 20% -- Meeting with vendors for building materials, updating library of materials: FFE selection for clients (Furniture, Fixture, and Equipment)
- 20% -- Programming and working through presentations with clients for new work coming online
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Interiors or Architecture
- Knowledge of ADA Codes and Guidelines
- Eligible for Security Clearance
