Description:
Actalent is seeking a 3-7 year Architectural Designer or Job Captain to join the team of a Commercial Design-Build firm in Denver, CO. This person will have hands on involvement in all phases and aspects of the project ranging from project management, production, design, client interaction, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture is required.
- Experience in commercial, retail, or industrial projects.
- On track for licensure or licensed.
- Ability to be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Revit with solid background in building modeling.
- Sound knowledge of MEP building systems, building codes and energy codes.
- Solid technical and detailing skills, an understanding of how buildings come together.
- Exceptional and creative presentation skills utilizing Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint software a big plus.
- A good sense of humor.
Work Environment:
The firm is a full service building contractor engaged in the design and/or construction of build-to-suit commercial, religious, industrial, office, retail, warehouse, and distribution facilities primarily in the Front Range of Colorado for owners, users, and developers.
They have about 50 people in the company here in Denver and currently 10 people on the Design team.
Current and upcoming projects: VA medical office buildings, luxury truck stops, industrial flex space, waste/recycling facility, pre-engineered metal buildings,etc.
