Description:
As a Laboratory Services Manager, you will oversee daily operations in geotechnical and construction materials testing laboratories. You will lead the adoption of new testing technologies and methods, maintain equipment, and develop procedures. Additionally, as the Laboratory Services Manager, you will market testing capabilities to clients and project managers, serving as a consultant on geotechnical and construction materials testing. Your role will also involve coordinating laboratory accreditation programs to ensure compliance and excellence. Manage laboratory staff and operations. Coordinate proposals, project management, reporting, and invoicing. Lead adoption of new testing technologies and methods. Maintain equipment and develop laboratory procedures. Market testing capabilities and provide consultation to clients and project managers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
You have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Natural Sciences, Construction Science, or other closely related technical field You have a minimum of 5 years combined experience in geotechnical and construction materials testing with a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory, management, or leadership role Proficient with computer technology and mechanical testing equipment You have a Professional registration or the qualifications to apply for professional registration, a plus You are proficient in ASTM and AASHTO test methods, AASHTO R18 QMS, and calibration of geotechnical and material testing equipment, a plus You have experience with specialized software (Geosystems, Sigma 1, NEXT, WinSAS), Lab Information Management Systems, and automated testing equipment with electronic data acquisition, a plus
