Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

The Lab Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of raw materials, cook batches, and finished products. This position demands a fast-paced work style and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands. Responsibilities include receiving samples for testing, calculating cook times or batch processes, and directing the production floor on necessary adjustments. The Lab Technician ensures that nothing progresses to the next stage without their approval, maintaining strict control over the production process.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

2-2-3 shift EXAMPLE: week 1= (M, T, F, Sat, Sun) Week 2= (Weds, Thurs)

6am to 6pm

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay is Mon-Sat

Work Environment

The work environment includes a chemical processing/food manufacturing plant that is generally hot, though the lab is temperature-controlled. The lab technician will share office space with chemical operators, fostering close collaboration. Approximately 90% of the time will be dedicated to running samples and performing batch calculations.
