Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

• Perform routine grain testing procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
• Record and compile test results to prepare graphs, charts, and reports as required and requested by management.
• Communicate results to internal/external customers via COAs, verbal or written documentation.
• Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies and effectively communicating deviations from the standard(s) to Lab Tech and document external testing results.
• Conduct routine quality control testing and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
• Support QFS Manager.
• Verify sufficient inventory of testing supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory environment.
• Prefer familiarity with lab instrumentation, but not required.
• Must follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Work Environment

Mostly in lab but will need to be open to data entry and paperwork as well. GMP. Training will be 6 weeks long on 1st shift, once qualified will move to 2nd shift.
