Job Description
We are looking for a Lab Technician to join our team. This position involves ensuring that daily quality standards are met in our laboratory environment. Responsibilities
- Organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Conduct various testing methods.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulations.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Provide support across different functions as needed.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, make independent decisions, pay high attention to detail, and have a service-oriented mindset.
- Manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities with minimal supervision.
Essential Skills
- Experience as a laboratory technician.
- Proficiency in specific testing methods.
- Knowledge of laboratory chemistry and related fields.
- Expertise in quality control practices.
- Understanding of relevant testing standards and regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A 2-year or 4-year degree in a science-related field such as Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, Environmental Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or similar.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Experience in specific testing methods, either from industry or coursework.
- 3-6 months of industry experience in a regulated environment or 6-12 months of undergraduate research.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
