Job Title: Landscape Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Architect to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of projects, including residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional developments. This position involves direct mentorship of junior staff, developing design drawings, and preparing environmental assessments for site approvals. Regular meetings with clients and agencies will be required, and an understanding of development design and approval processes within local agencies is desired.

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of projects including residential, mixed-use, commercial, and institutional developments.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and assist in the development of design drawings.
• Conduct environmental assessments of sites and prepare plans for agency approvals.
• Participate in regular meetings with clients and agencies.
• Understand and navigate the development design and approval processes within various local agencies.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and SketchUp.
• Experience with land planning, landscape architecture, and urban development.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and project planning software.
• Knowledge of erosion control and sediment management.
• At least 2-3 years of landscape designing experience with common software.
• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Engineering.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge or familiarity with Civil 3D and Land FX.
• Graphic design skills.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

We offer an extremely collaborative work environment that requires communication with engineers and other designers. The candidate will report to a Landscape Architect and work alongside a junior Landscape Architect. Our culture is small to medium-sized and growing, with leadership that knows everyone personally. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $39.00
