Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing processes, tooling and fixture design, and lean manufacturing techniques. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities and the opportunity to work in both office and manufacturing floor environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify tooling and fixturing.
• Utilize lean tools to improve processes.
• Review new designs for producibility.
• Support the manufacturing floor with process-related questions.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
• Implement engineering changes.
• Process and update work order documentation.

Essential Skills

• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience working in settings such as CNC (mills/lathes), grinding, EDM, tube bending, brazing, fabrication, press brakes, welding, and deburring.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with process drawings, tooling, and fixture design.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have worked their way up from the shop floor.

Work Environment

The role involves 80% office work and 20% time on the manufacturing floor. The facility houses 220 employees, including a dedicated engineering team of four. This position offers the opportunity to take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities, avoiding a narrow focus on a single aspect of manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
