Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Design tooling and fixtures to support product fabrication and assembly. Coordinate design criteria with vendors and/or customers when applicable. Generate, manage, and drive continuous improvement of all manufacturing documents and processes including work instructions, manufacturing routers, inspection forms, etc. Follow through with the fabrication of tooling and fixtures by internal and external suppliers. Provide engineering support to manufacturing functions, including assembly, purchasing, and QA. This includes providing first-line technical support to these functions. Improve overall processes and related issues including process development, scheduling, creating process documentation, product assembly and production processing, problem solving, and program management. Oversee the installation and debug of tooling and capital equipment.

• Hands-on: must be comfortable going on production floor, working with hands

This is a fully on-site position in Cerritos, California.

Work Environment

100% onsite / M-F / 7 or 8 am start time. 50% in office, 50% on shop floor. 200 people total between 3 companies sharing the same location. About 70 employees at this company.
