What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer position at Actalent?
Description:
Develops new systems and components in accordance with product requirements.
- Creating 2D and 3D drawings utilizing CAD software
- Transition product to production floor
- Mechanical analysis (thermal and vibration analysis)
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related engineering field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with ASME Section VIII and applicable military standards.
Experience in fluid flow, metallurgy, or stress analysis using finite element methods and with manufacturing business system’s software.
