PACU RN Nurse
Monday - Friday; Day Shift
*No weekends, No nights, No holidays*
Job Description
- Monitoring vital signs: monitor patients' vital signs after surgery to ensure they are recovering safely
- Managing pain: administer pain medication and assess patients' pain levels
- Assessing patients: assess patients' post-operative conditions, including their level of consciousness and surgical wounds
- Providing emotional support: provide emotional support to patients who may be experiencing discomfort or anxiety
- Updating patient records: keep accurate and timely notes in patient charts and digital records
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in PACU or Critical Care
- Ortho Experience preferred
Certifications & Licenses:
- Current TN Registered Nurse License or Multistate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $79560.00/yr.
